The Adopt a Ship™ program brings maritime education to life by connecting schools with merchant vessels sailing across the globe. Through regular correspondence with the Captain and crew, pupils follow the ship’s voyage, explore new countries and cultures, and gain valuable insights into the people and professions that keep global trade moving.

Integrated into the school curriculum, the program supports learning across Geography, History, English, Mathematics, and other subjects through real-world experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness. Teachers receive a unique educational resource that enriches classroom learning, while pupils develop a stronger understanding of teamwork, responsibility, sustainability, and the importance of the maritime industry.
